Since April 2018, Place Tech has published quarterly TRENDS reports, each providing a comprehensive insight into the latest proptech innovations, and tracking the transformation of the property industry.

Q1 2018

TRENDS’ first issue looks at wellbeing for occupants in commercial buildings, the rise of artificial intelligence, maturity towards technology in the property industry and sustainability in the Netherlands.

Q2 2018

For PlaceTech’s second quarterly report, the focus is on harnessing building data, microgrids as an efficient energy supply, cybersecurity in smart cities and Workman’s adoption of new technologies.

Q3 2018

The third rendition of TRENDS report looks at how property can be geared towards aging populations, smart technology in healthcare, lack of financial incentive for higher quality building maintenance and how to ‘Talk Tech’ to the market.

Q4 2018

In TRENDS’ final report for 2018, the focus is on the govtech ‘revolution’, the emerging Indian market, Internet of Things’ smart devices and ‘2 minutes’ with Guru Systems.

Q1 2019

2019’s first TRENDS report focuses on India and China’s domination in urban expansion, a mapping of South Africa’s proptech scene, how landlords can maintain compliance with ever-changing regulations and a behind-the-scenes look at Airbnb management services provided by Hostmaker.

H1 2019

The second TRENDS report of 2019 titled, ‘Best of 2019 (so far)’ directs its focus to the phenomenal level of funding that has occurred so far this year, a look at high-profile hires, and a report of the products making big waves in the proptech industry.
