TODAY | Mills & Reeve practical webinar on demise of EU-US Privacy Shield

At the end of last week, the European Court of Justice struck down the US Privacy Shield, which let companies transfer data to the US, and although it focused on EU-US data transfers, the ruling is already causing widespread aftershocks for international personal data transfers from within the European Economic Area.

International group companies using personal data, or even non-international organisations which are using Cloud or other service providers in non-EEA countries (such as India or elsewhere), need to be aware of the implications arising from the ruling.

Jagvinder Singh Kang, international and UK head of IT at leading law firm Mills & Reeve, is offering a short, practical webinar to consider what steps you can take to protect your organisation following the ruling. It will be relevant to all organisations involved in international personal data transfers from within the EEA, whether to group companies, service providers or other organisations.

The webinar is due to take place on Tuesday 4 August at 4pm to 4.30pm
