Join PlaceTech at CREtech NYC this week
Organiser Michael Beckerman said he expects the largest US crowd in proptech history with 2,500 attending the two-day conference.
A significant number of attendees will be from real estate companies, including many from overseas, reflecting progress in getting the industry to adopt and invest in technology.
Companies represented include Netflix, Uber, Hines, Yardi, Camber Creek, essensys, JLL, Equiem, BIG Architects, Oxford Properties and many more.

The speaker line-up features C-Suite executives and heads of technology for such major real estate companies as CBRE, Greystar, Greystone, Vornado, Prologis, Howard Hughes Corp, JLL, UDR, Tishman Speyer, PGIM, Great Portland Estates, Ivanhoe Cambridge and more.
There will be a dedicated climate pavilion devoted to companies embracing sustainability and an affordable housing pavilion focused on tech aimed at this global crisis.
As for keynotes, there will be the chance to hear from Bjarke Ingels, Laura Hines, Michael Turner, Michael Phillips and Sonny Kalsi among the big names.
The format will see content divided between five stages including:
- main keynote stage where real estate executives will share their innovation strategies
- innovation stage focused on startups and their solutions
- networking lounge
- and the expo of stands.
The event brings together landlords, asset managers, brokerages, construction companies, tech startups, venture capitals, thought-leaders, and more all under one roof.
Content will cover every sector including office, multifamily, single-family, construction, retail, logistics, and hospitality.
