Delegations head to FUTURE: PropTech

Property professionals and technology entrepreneurs from across the world were travelling to London on Monday to attend FUTURE: PropTech.

Due to take place on Tuesday 14 May at the Business Design Centre in Islington, the conference and exhibition will host some of the biggest names in real estate agency, development and investment as well as the startups aiming to transform the industry.

Founded in 2015 by Gary Chimwa, FUTURE: PropTech will this year explore the theme of open collaboration.

The main two stages will be hosted PlaceTech’s Paul Unger and EG’s Emily Wright. Stage 1 is all about Mega Trends. This will focus on how the real estate sector is being fundamentally changed by global trends such as urbanisation, demographics and technology. Stage 2’s theme is the Future is Now. Here attendees will watch case studies, on-stage demos, hear success stories and guides to the technology being deployed by leading real estate companies.

There will be three additional zones in the main hall: the Startup Zone, PlaceTech’s International Zone and the Tili-sponsored Residential Agent Zone.

Across nine tracks, FUTURE: PropTech will explore some of the biggest trends and issues in the property industry today. These include:

  • Solving the Housing Crisis – What role can innovation play?
  • Technology for Investors & Developers
  • Trends in the Retail Sector
  • Facilities Management, Sustainability
  • Occupiers, Modern Workplaces & Tenant Experience,
  • The Impact of Technology on the real estate sector
  • Smart Buildings & Digital Twins
  • The Tech Enabled Brokerage
  • Smart Cities, Urban Mobility

The event will bring together a 50:50 female-male split of 140 speakers from 20 countries, contributing 30 hours of content about the key issues in the property ecosystem.
Speakers come from the likes of Airbnb, Arup, Bisnow, CBRE, Concrete VC, IBM Watson, Liquid Real Estate Innovation, MetaProp NYC, Pi Labs, Segro, Spacemaker AI, Softbank, Uber and more.

In 2019, FUTURE: PropTech has partnered with more than 80 companies including Aberdeen Standard Investments, Asset Mapping, Arup, CBRE, Cherre, VTS, Open Box Software, Coyote Software, GetRentr, Hubhub by HB Reavis, Innogy Innovation Hub, Mishcon de Reya, Re-Leased, Stokr, Spark Energy and W-Tech.
Delegates, partners, guests and exhibitors will also have access to HubHub’s Co-working space, the W-Tech sponsored Networking Bar and meeting pods throughout the event.
