Both have disadvantages and advantages. On one hand, selling a property to an individual can be time-consuming and complex to manage. On the other hand, going through an agency can be fairly expensive.
Solution | Oward is an online bidding marketplace that allows sellers to target thousands of investors without having to spend any money. Oward reviews potential buyers and only presents to sellers those that are genuinely interested and have had their finances verified.
The startup analyses properties using data and provides an estimate before it goes online. The seller signs a mandate which gives Oward exclusive marketing of the real estate. This exclusivity lasts between 15 days and 2 months and during that time the seller can make the decision to choose offered by online buyers.
Results | In total, approximately €1.4m of transactions has taken place on the online platform.
