Mortgage valuation app surpasses 5 million milestone
A popular survey and mortgage valuation app designed by software firm Landmark Valuation Services has been used for five million transactions, the company said.
Launched in 2012, Q-Mobile is a smartphone surveying app that helps property surveyors capture and monitor accurate property information efficiently and consistently.
The app allows property professionals to use this information for mortgage valuations, RICS HomeBuyer reports and Scottish Single Surveys.
Consumer take-up of tech has been years ahead of business’s adoption and the earlier adoption by residential property before commercial has reflected this.
According to Landmark, the app lets surveyors “spend less time form-filling and instead spend more time applying professional judgement to the property in question”.
“Today, we have surveyors across the country compiling valuation instructions, Homebuyer reports and single surveys with great efficiency.”
Headquartered in Exeter and established in 1982, Landmark develops a range of property valuation software for lenders, surveyor and surveyor panel managers.
The Q-Mobile app is available as part of its leased managed service, which offers organisations access to the latest Microsoft Surface Pro tablets.
Each tablet is pre-installed with the Q-Mobile software and is free of charge to users who complete 40 or more valuation instructions each month.
Organisations using Landmark’s valuation services include Nationwide, Aldermore, Connells and Santander. The firm has also fostered partnerships with tech giants such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Oracle.
Hobbs added: “Q-Mobile has won awards for its innovation and we are continuing to invest in the app to ensure it meets the needs of surveyors both now and in the future. To reach five million transactions is a fantastic milestone and one our team should be very proud of.”
Landmark Valuation Services is owned by Daily Mail General Trust, which has a long and successful history of owning B2B data companies.
