The UK lettings agency group has picked PropCo for its property management and client accounts software, after a competitive tender.
Michael Cook, national lettings MD at LRG, said: “PropCo has proved itself to be the best in class, most tried and tested platform for our business. Utilising cutting-edge technology like PropCo helps our people work to the best of their abilities and ultimately leads to the customer being the winner. We are committed to quality in all areas of our business and, after a lengthy selection process we chose PropCo to support our growth strategy and our mission to continually and rapidly adapt and respond to our customer’s needs.”
LRG reported turnover of £118m in 2018, producing an operating profit of £18m. LRG is one of the UK’s largest lettings businesses and a multi-faceted property services company formed by the merger of three brands – Leaders, Romans and Boyer – in 2016. The company has been highly acquisitive since merging, most recently acquiring Dunlop Heywood, the North West-based rating specialist, at the turn of this year. Backed by private equity firm, Bowmark Capital, LRG has a network of 160 branches across the country and employs over 2,100 people.
The PropCo platform, developed by Technology Blueprint, is gaining dominance in the lettings industry with clients including Countrywide, ALM, Benham & Reeves, MoveWithUs, Ascend and many others because of its “dynamic, feature-rich offering that powers lettings agency groups to work flexibly and scale securely.”
Mark Howlett, commercial director of PropCo, said: “Leaders Romans Group has experienced the power, performance and versatility of our platform and we are excited to be able to support them in their decisive move to implement and invest in an established platform known for its next-generation technology.”
This new deployment will see PropCo rolled out to over 1,000 staff across the whole of LRG and is already underway with five of their 14 regions live, introducing new features, efficiency, automation and flexibility across the group.
