Zoopla and OnTheMarket integrate with Facebook

Property portals Zoopla and OnTheMarket have launched an integration with Facebook Marketplace in the UK, which means more than 300,000 of their agents’ rental listings are now visible on the platform.

Following the success of Marketplace’s property for rent offering in the US, Facebook has launched a similar experience for UK property seekers who will be able to search for lets and filter by property type, price range and bedrooms.

More than 800m people globally each month come to Facebook Marketplace to buy and sell things.

In the UK, a total of 40m people access the social media site every month, with 37m of them via mobile. More than 30m people in the UK visit Facebook every day.

John Milsom, brand director of OnTheMarket, commented: “Today, people can search Facebook Marketplace in the UK and connect with our agents, who update their listings data frequently to ensure accurate availability and pricing. We look forward to working with Marketplace to create worldclass value for propertyseekers and value for both of our businesses.”
