Yardi snaps up Forge
Yardi has acquired Forge, the Bristol-based visitor management and access control software company.
Forge’s Forge Bluepoint product is a cloud-based visitor management platform that allows companies to manage visitors “flexibly and securely”.
Used in 22m sq ft of property in the UK by companies ranging from Landsec to CBRE and Savills, Forge Bluepoint guides the visitor process from invitations and check-ins to arrival.
The platform also gives users real-time insights into their spaces and allows for integration with other building management technologies. This allows it to be connected with smart building tech that powers everything from lifts to meeting rooms.
In joining Yardi, Forge is becoming a part of a global platform with nearly four decades of experience in the sector. Yardi’s suite of property management services has steadily grown over the years and now includes a comprehensive range of uses: investment, asset and property management; accounting; marketing and leasing; procurement; and business intelligence.
Neal Gemassmer, vice president of international for Yardi, said: “We are excited to welcome the whole team at Forge into the Yardi family. This further serves to demonstrate our commitment to investing in innovative teams and technology to better serve the industry.”
Paul Speariett, co-founder and director of Forge, said: “We are delighted to become part of the Yardi family. Working together, we will ensure Forge Bluepoint is the leading visitor management solution across the sectors we work in.
“This is an exciting phase for Forge and our team, and we are greatly looking forward to the future and being part of Yardi’s end-to-end technology offering.”
