VTS bolsters European expansion with nine UK hires

The real estate management platform, used by Blackstone and Brookfield, has doubled down on its UK hiring spree with nine new appointments, including a senior director previously at WeWork.

John Campbell, former head of global referrals at WeWork, has joined VTS as senior director and market activation manager as the platform looks to expand its marketing product, VTS Market, across EMEA.

With more than 25 years of experience in real estate, Campbell has previously worked at Lambert Smith Hampton and DTZ.

He will be joined by eight other hires, including Manisha Patel as senior implementation manager.

The appointments come amid VTS’s continued expansion globally and within the UK. The company, whose technology is used in about 300m sq ft of commercial real estate, made two significant tenant engagement acquisitions last year – Rise and Lane.

After launching VTS Rise, VTS hired Seb Abigail in August 2021 to lead the product’s European expansion. A raft of other appointees followed, with VTS doubling its UK headcount last year.

Alongside Campbell and Patel, the most recent round of hires includes:

  • Adeola Fari-Arole as implementation manager
  • Will Curtis as content coordinator
  • Rob Cruess Callaghan and Chris Hill as client advisers
  • John Milner as integrations and API support adviser
  • Sean-Chance Singleton as implementation manager, EMEA
  • Rachael Bowles as office manager

Charlie Wade, EMEA Managing Director at VTS, added: “The UK and EMEA is a fast growing market for VTS, hiring a team with an extensive track record will enable us to keep up with demand and continue providing the solutions that our clients need.

“We’re thrilled to welcome new talent to the VTS team including senior industry figures like John who will be a real asset as we accelerate the role out of VTS Market.

“As landlords look to navigate a post-pandemic world, a digital marketplace which enables them to advertise their space effectively will be essential. We’re excited to continue our growth as we keep up the pace in our role as the expert bridge between technology and real estate.”

Nick Romito, CEO at VTS, said: “VTS is on a strong growth trajectory globally and we are pleased to be expanding our best-in-class team in the UK and Europe so that we can continue to remain at the forefront of providing essential solutions for commercial real estate.”
