Vita creates student tenant engagement app

The developer’s student brand Vita Student has done a deal with Manchester-based tech company Padoq to enhance tenant experience.

The app will offer room bookings, issue reporting, events planning, inventory management and communication.

Padoq’s app for Vita Student connects to existing property management backend systems, with the intention to give tenants a smoother experience to manage their relationship with the brand.

Jonathan Tizard, technology director of Vita Student said: “Working with Padoq, we’ve been able to enhance our offering without the usual headaches of developing an app, giving our student tenants a fresh, modern way of interacting with us.”

The Padoq platform lets brands and businesses design their own apps for Android and iOS devices.

Having successfully deployed the Vita Student app, Padoq is now looking to expand its presence in both the residential and commercial property markets. Padoq’s platform also opens up opportunities to commercialise apps through advertising, shopping and market research features.

Mike Anderson, CEO of Padoq, said: “Ambitious property management companies and developers often want to offer their own superior digital platform. Today’s tech-savvy tenants expect a smooth, modern, digital experience when it comes to managing their accommodation.”
