Tesco rolls out iSite software

Tesco has selected property and estate management system iSite to underpin its new global property operating model, following an overhaul of its strategic systems.

The five-year contract will see Tesco roll-out iSite to manage the delivery of programmes, projects and capital maintenance and provide a single view of key information about its global estate – including lease terms, budgets, space and assets.

Developed by integrated property services group Styles&Wood, iSite integrates with existing systems to provide data transparency and real‑time intelligence about property estates, allowing businesses to identify cost savings, monitor risks and manage property projects.

Martin Ward, portfolio services director at Styles&Wood, said: “We’ve worked with Tesco for 13 years, supporting their property operations as their own use of property has evolved. This long-term relationship has allowed us to create a system that is completely aligned with the business’ property management model.

“Rolling out iSite will allow Tesco to map macro trends in building performance as well as granular detail about each of its buildings. It’s also adaptable – meaning we can work with Tesco to ensure it remains relevant over the course of the contract and hopefully beyond.”

Phil Cook, UK programme and property director at Tesco Stores, said: “We have worked with iSite for a number of years and their next generation solution is not only leading edge, but it is simple and easy to use. It is a tool our colleagues want to engage with which is essential when it comes to landing business change.”

Tesco and iSite have not commented on how much the contract is worth.
