Re-Leased, the cloud-based property management platform, has partnered with Azets, one of the UK’s largest accountancy and business advisory firms.
The deal will allow Azets, the UK’s largest regional business adviser to SMEs, to give its property clients access to the range of services – including lease and compliance management, tenant communication, document storage and reporting – offered on the Re-Leased platform.
Re-Leased said the partnership will accelerate the digitisation already underway in the accounting sector. Its software syncs automatically with customers’ financial accounts through its integration with accountancy software such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.
The cloud-based management platform centralises clients’ data and provides landlords, property managers, tenants and accountants with live updates on its dashboard.
Globally, it manages more than 70,000 properties, including 35,000 commercial leases in the UK.
Richard Kennedy, global head of partnerships at Re-Leased, said: “This partnership with Azets and Re-Leased demonstrates the opportunity for the accounting industry to become more involved and more valuable in the commercial property industry.
“Re-Leased’s platform enables Azets staff to efficiently complete compliance work but most importantly provide advisory on eliminating inefficiencies, mitigating risks and reporting within their property customers’ businesses. Azets truly understand the benefits of modern technology for themselves and their customers and are ensuring that they take advantage of this opportunity to attract and retain a particularly valuable customer base.”
Stephen Kuhn, head of software solutions at Azets, said: “Digitising operations processes within property management, whilst linking that to your back office systems and business advisors, enables property management companies and portfolios to optimise in times of change.
“Through the Azets partnership with Re-Leased we are able to help our clients focus their time where it is needed most, whilst actively partnering on business performance and compliance.”
