On the move: Reed, FutureGov, Big Change, Oxane, HB Reavis

Adam Balsam has moved within Reed Exhibitions, the global property event company, from a role at MIPIM to become sales director of a new smart cities show in partnership with the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. The move marks an expansion by Reed into transport and smart mobility. The first event is due to take place from 4-8 October in Los Angeles.

Stefan Webb Future Cities Catapult

In London, Stefan Webb has left government agency Connected Places Catapult (formerly Future Cities Catapult) to join management consultancy FutureGov as place director. He said: “I’ll still be pushing #plantech but also supporting local authorities with their response to #ClimateEmergency and more.” FutureGoiv was founded in 2008 by Dominic Campbell, and states its business as “designing public services for the digital age”.

David Todd BigChange

David Todd, BigChange

Mobile working system BigChange has appointed David Todd as a consultant to spearhead business expansion within the UK local government and social housing sectors. Formed in 2013, Leeds-based BigChange now has over 40,000 mobile workers and back-office personnel using its mobile workforce and job management solution. Todd spent 16 years as director of Xmbrace, later part of Kirona Group, provider of social housing mobile scheduling solutions acquired by Advanced last year. He is also on the board of Sovereign Property Services and MD of cloud software specialist Luminis.

Andrew Tisdall Oxane

Andrew Tisdall, Oxane

Oxane Partners, a technology-driven alternative investments analyst, has recruited Andrew Tisdall as director of portfolio management solutions. Oxane recently announced its expansion into the European loan servicing market. Tisdall will report into Sumit Gupta, co-founder of Oxane, and will focus on expanding the firm’s portfolio management business in Europe. Tisdall has worked at Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Mount Street. He joined Oxane from Hampton Mortgage Servicing, where he spent two years as chief operations officer.

Gilbert Lennox-King, Symbiosy

Gilbert Lennox-King has left Guru Systems, an energy network performance monitor, to join HB Reavis subsidiary Symbiosy as sales director for UK and Western Europe. Symbiosy provides occupiers with information about their workplace to enhance health and productivity.
