Non-profit PropTech House strives to unite European market
A new non-profit organisation has been established with the aim of uniting Europe’s many proptech organisations.
PropTech House, based in Brussels, has launched with the mission of supporting a sustainable European proptech market, and to create a positive impact on the European living environment and beyond.
PropTech House was established by the founders of some of Europe’s most prominent proptech organisations, including Menno Lammers of PropTechNL, Bartosz Dobrowolski of PropTech Poland; Idriss Goossens, of PropTech Lab (Belgium), Boris Andric of Proptech South East Europe, and Rodrigo Garcia de la Cruz of Finnovating.
The organisation will work to encourage cross-border tech collaborations, standardisation of European proptech markets, and the creation of a legal framework for the industry.
Menno Lammers, co-founder of Proptech House, said of the new organisation: “[The founding board members] all met in Paris during a proptech event, and we all agreed that the European property world is too fragmented, and we have to harmonise it to make a positive impact on the living environment for now and future generations.
“With the launch of the PropTech House we have taken a first step towards creating a harmonised European proptech market. As a result, we hope pan-European Unicorns will be born.”
PropTech Houses’s first project will be the Proptech Startup Europe Awards.
