MIPIM PropTech Europe is set to return in July – in Paris but in a new venue. The conference, organised by Reed MIDEM, will take place at cultural and arts exhibition space Cent Quatre on 1 and 2 of July.
MIPIM PropTech Europe is set to bring together experts from the global real estate and proptech markets for two days of immersive talks, sessions, exhibitions and networking opportunities. There will be a pre-event party and startup competition.
Connecting real estate and tech
Reed MIDEM is still devising the full agenda, but has started promoting the central theme of the 2019 event: Matching Users’ Expectations. This theme will set the framework for exploration of ways in which organisations can address the needs of occupants and tenants of buildings, as well as city dwellers in the wider scope.
The event is aimed at real-estate leaders looking to leverage new technologies; tech companies that want to profile their products and increase business opportunities with established firms; and investors searching for the next big proptech success story.
Last year, MIPIM PropTech Europe attracted 1,500 delegates, 1,000 companies and 100 speakers from 40 countries. Topics included big data, the Internet of Things, cyber security, smart cities, blockchain and artificial intelligence.
Serviced office trendsetter WeWork and multidisciplinary advisor JLL have been announced as the official partners of the 2019 MIPIM PropTech conferences in Paris, New York and Hong Kong.
Other event partners and supporters include Brickblock, Real Estech, Workwell, Holland Proptech, Propmodo and PlaceTech.
“From urban planning to the occupation of workspaces, users are at the heart of the real estate ecosystem,” said event organiser Reed MIDEM in its official announcement. “To respond to their demands, expectations and needs, both public authorities and businesses have developed change strategies to improve the user experience. MIPIM PropTech is the place to go to understand today’s urban challenges and discover tomorrow’s innovations.”
