Mallcomm has partnered with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to roll out its communications, management and tenant engagement platform at Los Angeles Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
URW, which manages the commercial programmes at both airports, will be able to use Mallcomm’s software to streamline communication between itself and the teams and retailers working at LAX and ORD.
The platform digitises processes within complex operational environments, allowing URW to send instant, traceable messages and memos at the push of a button. Management can issue digital checklists to selected teams or retailers and require a digital signature on completion. Workflows can be automatically generated to ensure the correct teams are notified of maitnenace or operational issues as soon as they are discovered.
Digitising these processes saves time and gives URW deeper insights into its operations at the two airports – the second and third busiest in the US.
One of the largest real estate companies in Europe with a portfolio of flagship destinations globally, URW already uses Mallcomm at 90 other sites around the world. Mallcomm’s other clients include Mall of America, Brookfield Properties Retail, Oxford Properties, British Land and The Crown Estate.
