One of the highlights of the extremely busy calendar of events that brought property and technology together in 2018 was FUTURE:PropTech in London in May, the biggest pure proptech gathering in the UK ever, with more than 1,600 attendees.
PlaceTech was there to report on the hot themes emerging as real estate tech made the step change from small get-togethers to large professional conventions. Next year, FUTURE’s fifth anniversary, PlaceTech will be heavily involved: chairing main-stage debates, extensive preview and review coverage, mutual promotion and branding at each other’s events, and much more as fuel for driving innovation in property.
Charlotte McCarthy, marketing and partnerships director at FUTURE PropTech: “We are very excited about our partnership with PlaceTech. Within a short space of time they have built a high quality and well-respected publication that is helping a global audience to keep up-to-date with the fast paced world of proptech. Through our dedicated content on PlaceTech we will build on this success by sharing the latest news and updates from our own network of partners and associations from over 33 countries. Proptech is indeed a global phenomenon so keep checking regularly to understand all the trends.”
Paul Unger, editor of PlaceTech: “What Gary Chimwa [founder of FUTURE:PropTech], Charlotte and the whole team have done in a short space of time to build their event to the massive must-attend global show it is now is phenomenal. We learned a lot from attending this year and are thrilled at the chance to get more involved and share their good work with our audience next year. We are both on the same mission to unite property and technology and this partnership makes perfect sense.”
FUTURE:PropTech is due to take place on 13 and 14 May 2019 at the Business Design Centre in London.
