Homes specialist joins MetaProp VC
Specialist fund MetaProp has grown its advisory team with Jerry Coleman, co-founder of leasing company Invitation Homes and home-sales platform Offerpad, joining as a venture advisor.
Coleman will sit alongside current venture partners Elie Finegold, ex-CBRE real estate and technology entrepreneur, and Maria Seredina of real estate broker HomeLight.
He will assist with deal diligence and startup growth distribution and recruiting.

Coleman’s portfolio includes Offerpad, Alliance Investment Group, solar sales and installation company Elevation Home Energy Solutions and Invitation Homes, which he co-founded in partnership with Blackstone, bringing in more than $10bn in investment. Invitation Homes is a NYSE listed public company.

The firm manages multiple investment funds for both financial and strategic real estate investors representing a pilot- and test-ready sandbox of over 15bn sq ft across every real estate asset type and global market.
