Gustavo Favaron, GRI Club CEO says the move will help members respond to the challenges of new technology

GRI launches proptech division

The global real estate membership organisation has announced a new programme focused on technology and innovation.

There will be a series of events and content on this theme in 2021, following a growing interest from GRI members.

Two committees have been set up to help shape the agenda. One is focused on VC funding and the other is for technology leaders within real estate. The first online summit will take place on 30 and 31 March. PlaceTech is media partner for this event.

GRI Club is a private members organisation exclusively for C-Level and Director executives from Real Estate and Infrastructure. Some 93% of the members are Real Estate Investors, Developers and Asset Managers. There are more than 7,500 members worldwide, representing 87 countries.

Gustavo Favaron, GRI Club CEO, commented: “I’m very excited to be launching this new division. Technology has been driving change within Real Estate for a number of years now and we see this only accelerating due to the current challenges caused by the pandemic. This has been reflected in the growing demand from our members to understand and adopt new technologies to help them address these challenges. I look forward to hearing these discussions on this topic through 2021 and beyond.”
