The annual European real estate show in Munich is due to take place next week and will combine both physical and online formats.
The two-day EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit will take place on 14 and 15 October at the International Congress Center Munich.
One of the three main pillars of the event programme is ‘how will the industry react to the boost the coronavirus has given to the ongoing process of digital transformation?’
Also on the agenda are ‘what does the pandemic mean for real estate and investment markets in Germany and beyond’; and ‘what impact will the coronavirus outbreak have on the industry’s different asset classes?’
There will be a blend of lectures and discussions, exhibition space and areas dedicated to specific themes – for example the startup platform EXPO REAL Innovation.
The venue has 70,000 sq ft of exhibition space, including 35,000 sq ft hall, as well as conference and meeting rooms. The organisers said “there is enough space to exchange ideas, present yourself as a company and hold confidential conversations despite the distancing regulations.”
EXPO REAL normally hosts 45,000 delegates.
Last month MIPIM attracted 1,500 people to physically attend Propel by MIPIM in Paris.
