Global property technology and services company, Equiem, has expanded its presence in Ireland by rolling out its digital tenant engagement platform across 2 further sites in Dublin, comprising over 700,000 sq ft of prime commercial space.
At Nova Atria, Equiem is contracted to roll-out its technology across the 346,000 sq ft site, formerly known as The Atrium, which is comprised of two office buildings in Sandyford and is understood to have a capacity of 1,400.
US investment group, Blackstone, acquired the offices in 2014 when they were occupied by Microsoft. The tech giant has since moved to its new €134m (£119m) campus located seven minutes away. Current tenants include cloud-based software company Salesforce, software-as-a-service fleet manager Fleetmatics, pharmaceutical company Bayer and business advisor Pearse Trust.
An initial soft launch of the platform, called ‘Nova Atria Community’, was held in December, with a full launch planned for the end of January. Just under 50% of people of one of the buildings have signed up to access the digital platform, which is set to introduce exclusive new amenities, offers and events across both buildings.
The tenant portal, which is also available as an app, provides tools to help landlords communicate with tenants and keep them engaged by introducing free indoor yoga classes, bootcamps, community quiz nights, networking events and lunchtime food markets.
Equiem is also used at the 365,000 sq ft Belfield Office Park, owned by US investment firm Spear Street Capital. Over 900 users have already registered to use the platform.
Both launches follow Equiem’s first launch in Ireland, which took place at The Campus, formerly known as Cherrywood Business Park, in September last year.
In 18 months since expanding into Europe, Equiem’s platform is used by over 12,000 users across more than 6m sq ft of prime commercial space across the UK and Ireland. The firm’s technology is used across 57m sq ft of space across the world.
