One year after its UK launch, global property technology and services company, Equiem, has expanded its international footprint into Ireland, taking its tenant engagement platform to Spear Street Capital’s Cherrywood in Dublin.
The Campus, formerly known as Cherrywood Business Park, comprises 578,000 sq ft of prime office space in South Dublin. Equiem’s technology, branded as the The Campus Connects has now been rolled out across the entire office element, following a successful launch week at the end of September.
Users can now access services such as free indoor yoga classes, bootcamp in the park, lunch and learn sessions, community quiz nights, networking events, lunchtime food markets and discounted healthcare and dental services.
Many more exclusive events, competitions and partnerships have also been made available through the portal, including exclusive retail deals and offers, through The Campus Connects online store or via local retail and supplier partnerships. Registration numbers for The Campus Connects currently stand at 1,570 users.
The launch marks Equiem’s third entry into a new international market in just 12 months, having expanded into both the USA and the UK last year. The Melbourne-founded firm’s technology is now used across more than 57m sq ft of space worldwide, with over 5.5m sq ft of space across the UK and Ireland already. Further deals in both the UK and Irish markets are expected to be announced in the coming months.
Gabrielle McMillan, CEO of Equiem, said: “We’ve enjoyed a superb first year in the UK and are delighted to have built on that momentum by expanding into Ireland at The Campus. This is an exciting new market for us with significant potential. On a global scale, landlords face the same challenges of engaging with their tenants and creating the amenities, services and experiences that users now demand. We’re providing a solution that enables our clients to tackle that challenge, wherever they may be based.”
Commenting on the launch at The Campus, Matt Forsum, associate at owners Spear Street Capital, said: “Bringing on Equiem allowed us to effectively create an engaging tenant experience in an efficient and creative way. Rolling out the platform in Ireland shortly after acquisition differentiated our project in the marketplace and allowed us to speak to new asset management initiatives we plan to bring to the park. The Equiem portal has been a huge success, not only for our tenants but for our own operating platform as well.”
