Altus to integrate with other providers
The commercial real estate software provider is set to launch Argus API to allow the open integration of Argus solutions with other non-Argus customer applications and data.
Used by thousands of customers around the world, Argus enables users to model, forecast, manage, analyse and report on their assets and cash flows from acquisition to disposition, with the ability to store, backup and access Argus files in one centralised cloud-based platform.
Altus hopes API will put customer data to better use by enabling a more seamless flow of data and more easily connected industry applications to streamline real estate workflows.
Argus API will be available in mid-December 2019.
Carl Farrell, president of Altus Group, said: “The CRE industry is experiencing a proliferation of systems servicing key workflows which is generating islands of data; this has created an urgent need to better put data to work with a more open, seamless and integrated approach.
“The result for clients is less complexity and greater ability to derive more value from their data.”
Argus API offers:
- Integration flexibility through an extensive set of available APIs with the ability to connect hundreds of data points while reducing the need for complex database integration and development work
- Clients centralised and synchronised access to multiple sources of streamlined data between Argus Enterprise and clients’ additional data including revenue and expense actuals and market data such as sales and leasing comparables while eliminating time-consuming data entry
- Real-time integration across different applications and systems to quickly assess impact of assumptions during various stages of the real estate workflow
Altus Group is also collaborating with several real estate technology providers to develop pre-built API connectors that will provide an integrated and more seamless flow of data between ARGUS Enterprise and other commonly used third-party industry solutions.
These pre-built connectors will bypass the need for up-front API integration development work, and significantly accelerate fully integrated connectivity between ARGUS and various third-party platform applications.
The announcement was made at ARGUS Connect, the client conference in London.
