The role may require travel between Landmark’s offices and client sites, however, the majority of time will be office-based in Exeter. In accordance with current Government guidelines, Landmark is supporting our teams with working from home. It is anticipated that a hybrid approach to office/WFH will be adopted in the future.

The Opportunity

The Programme Manager will be responsible to deliver a geospatial data migration service and assist in the contract management governance requirements. This will include, but not be limited to, management information, activity reports and to participate collaboratively with the Senior Management team internally and the externally with the customer.

You will be accountable for the design, build and implementation of the data migration service, the management of various elements of the programme and ensuring we deliver against its objectives. This will involve managing all internal and external workstreams, from requirements capture, service development and through to final delivery. This person will provide leadership for the project teams within the programme.

You will manage a robust programme plan, deputise for the Strategic Contract Lead and manage a small core team via a RACI matrix. Being responsible for the operational business relationship with one or more 3rd party suppliers by managing the agreed contractual service deliverables and assessing, analysing, developing, documenting and implementing these requests using delivery teams made up from both internal and external resources as a required.

About You

We are looking for a Senior Project/Programme Manager with a delivery background and experience of managing and delivering services and/or transformations involving geographic data to the Government/Public Sector.

  • Strong communicator, autonomous with the ability to plan, allocate and manage development work for both yourself and your team.
  • Experience of managing and delivering services and/or transformations involving geographic data to the Government/Public Sector.
  • Project/Programme management skills
  • Business process analysis skills
  • Ability to identify, isolate and resolve complex problems.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Presentation skills
