Located at the former EXPO ´92 Seville site, in Isla de la Cartuja, the new 9,900 m2 building by BIG Architects and Buro Happold engineers, ties into the Spanish city’s goal to become a global benchmark for sustainability by 2025.
It’s all change in the area immediately next to Cambridge railway station. Developer Brookgate, supported by Aviva, is now a substantial way through its CB1 regeneration project. Emerging from the station, visitors are greeted by an enhanced public square, including offices, cafes and bars. Predictably, it is also liberally festooned with bicycles.
